What exactly does HOAhuddle do?
HOAhuddle is an all-in-one platform designed to help HOA boards manage their communities more efficiently. It provides a customizable HOA website, tools for managing homeowner information, built-in dues collection, automated communication features, and on-demand reporting. The system centralizes your HOA data, reduces administrative work, and helps keep HOA board members and homeowners informed and organized.
Is there a free trial or demo?
Yes, HOAhuddle offers a full 30-day free trial, giving HOAs the opportunity to explore the platform’s features before subscribing. In addition to the trial, our website provides a detailed product tour that walks you through key features, offering a clear sense of how the system works in practice. If you would like to speak with our team directly, we are happy to schedule a call and demo with you.
HOAhuddle offers a 30-day free trial so HOAs can fully test the platform before committing. After the trial period, HOAhuddle operates on a month-to-month subscription model that requires a valid credit card. You will be billed $25 plus $1 per HOA member per month. At any time, you can choose to end your subscription. There are no refunds offered for mid-month account closures.
How customizable is the website or portal?
HOAhuddle allows HOAs to tailor their website with custom branding, colors, and content to match the identity of your community. HOA administrators can add blogs, news updates, and social media links, and they can decide what information to share with homeowners. The membership tools are flexible as well, supporting legacy data import and assisting with check-paying members as well as online payments.
The HOAhuddle platform includes robust reporting tools that let HOA board members quickly access homeowner lists, payment histories, dues status, and website content management. Boards can also manage large-scale email communications, such as newsletters and reminders, directly through the system!
HOAhuddle allows homeowners to pay their dues online through a fully integrated e-commerce system and or by check. Boards can set their own payment terms, apply late fees, enter check numbers, and automate reminders for upcoming or past-due payments. The system also tracks failed or declined payments and notifies homeowners so nothing falls through the cracks. The result is a smoother, more transparent payment process for both homeowners and the board.
How secure & reliable is HOAhuddle?
Security is a major focus for HOAhuddle. All accounts use SSL encryption—the same standard used by online banking—to protect data during transmission. Stored data is also encrypted, and communication between HOAhuddle’s servers and data centers follows secure protocols. The company maintains an immutable audit trail for internal support access and participates in a public bug-bounty program through HackerOne, ensuring continued security monitoring and improvement. HOAhuddle reports an average uptime of 99.9%; our infrastructure includes hardware redundancy, such as multiple power supplies and fail-safe network paths, which helps ensure the system stays online even when individual components experience issues.
How is my data stored and backed up?
HOAhuddle dose not store any credit card numbers or profiles within the HOAhuddle system at any time. They are processed and stored by Stripe, our gateway provider. HOAhuddle stores only customer tokens to associate future collection transactions with the gateway-stored customer profiles. Both gateways are independently audited annually for PCI compliance.
Data on HOAhuddle is backed up multiple times each day and replicated across at least two separate physical data centers for added protection. Database backups are retained for 180 days, while application logs are stored for 90 days. This backup strategy ensures that even in the event of a failure or data corruption, your HOA’s information remains safe, recoverable, and well-preserved.
